Commuter Connection is pleased to announce that it is a recipient of a $10,000 grant from Bikes Belong for the ZAP Twin Cities program. The Bikes Belong Grant Program strives to put more people on bicycles more often by funding important and influential projects that leverage federal funding and build momentum for bicycling in communities across the U.S.

Commuter Connection in partnership with St. Paul Smart Trips and the University of Minnesota will use this $10,000 grant from Bikes Belong for an innovative project to track and reward bicycle commuter trips in the Twin Cities downtown areas and the university district. Using RFID technology ZAP Twin Cities is designed to track, encourage and reward you for bicycle commuting. Get Tagged. Get Zapped. Get Rewarded. It’s that simple. ZAP Twin Cities will launch mid-summer. To learn more about ZAP Twin Cities visit www.zaptwincities.org
